Great Friends are Hard to Find

UNDECIDED?? LET'S TALK.
"Great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget."
"A true friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are."
High School was such an incredible time in your life. Most of us spent more time with our high school friends during the week than we do currently with our spouse or current friends! Think about it.
You saw your friends before school sometimes, rode to school with them, walked to class with them, skipped class with them, ate lunch together, did sports together, studied together (okay, that may be stretching it), hung out after school together, went out on some weeknights together, spent the night together... didn't really sleep b/c it was fun to just stay up all night together, and then on top of ALL of that, talked on the phone together.
I think high school might have been the most time I've ever spent with my friends. Even in college, you actually had to study and most people worked part-time. SOME responsibilities were starting to come! But, in high school, no matter how much you've changed or if you are exactly the same, you made friends. And friends are friends no matter how much time has passed. We all spent WAY too much time together and whether we admit it or not, we are all still kids at heart.
Our reunion is so special because our class really did enjoy spending time together. I know we have twitter, facebook, blogs, and email, and you basically become "electronic friends" with people but, REALLY?!! really?? Has friendship become just over the internet??
It's just not the same. At some point, you have to see your friends in person and spend some time with old friends. That's why we are having a reunion. Come spend some time with people who met you 14 years ago, how fun. How special. How neat.
We really hope you do not miss out on our reunion. Everyone is SO excited to get together. It is going to be an amazing night. We've had a huge response and are expecting 200 guests and lastly, here are a few highlights:
-dont forget the awesome venue and menu below
- dressy casual dresscode, but really.... wear whatever you want. people just asked so we had so give some kind of category. Be normal or be crazy. We don't care.
- TONS of raffle prizes are going to be given out. I seriously think almost every person will leave with one!
-Network, reconnect, and reminsce with old friends. You will be so glad you did.
- We are also having an after party somewhere. We will announce that at the reunion. We really want to spend as much time together as possible!
Our committe is ready to welcome you with open arms and have a good time! We miss you and can't wait to see you!!
Our committee:
Matt Mazikowski, Mary Beth Patton (Thrasher), Kris Dondero, Evin Kaseta (Earnhart), Danielle McGiveney, Katie Maynard (Raftelis), Kelly Adams, Whitney Norris (Durham), Lisa Sundberg (Skaggs), Jennifer Hulsey (Willis)

Top 18 Reasons To Go To Your 10 Year High School Reunion
Today is the deadline for early bird pricing! We've pulled out all the stops and given you 18 reasons to not miss out!! It's going to be a blast, don't regret later that you didn't go!
1. You now have a new cool job, like a professional killer, and you want to make sure that people know about it.
2. You are comfortable with where you are in life. This is a big one. It absolutely should not matter what you've done in life since graduation as long as you appreciate what you've done.
3. An opportunity to see how well - a bit of a snark- or how poorly some have done since high school. Often things do not turn out as well as some had thought, and the other way around.
4. There are people going who truly do want to see you. This is the ultimate reason for going.
5. You don't have to lie about your age.
6. Feel better realizing you are not the only one in your life stage. There is a broad spectrum of people from singles, marrieds, to married with kids..... despite what facebook shows.
7. You would like to visit your hometown and the reunion gives you an excuse to do so. Show the current people in your life your old stomping grounds, go roll a house, walk on the football field, or go park in your old parking spot. Your roots are important.
8. Even if you had negative experiences in high school, you will most likely laugh about it now. Seriously, who cares now?? And, who really liked who they were in high school anyway?
9. Enjoy a kid free evening, for those it pertains to.
10. Use the reunion as an opportunity to diet, shape up, or buy something new.
11. Go because you look NOTHING like you did in high school.
12. Go because you look EXACTLY like you did in high school.
13. Go because you don't really give a rip what anyone thinks about you anyway!
14. Go because you just bought a hummer and you want to arrive in style and put all the mini van drivers to shame.
15. Humor the reunion committe, we are a bunch of diehards that think all 735 will show up, plus guests.
16. You will laugh, cry, and reconnect with old friends from high school, even the ones you don't remember.
17. You want to have a new memory since you can't remember one single thing from graduation.
18. Lastly, studies have shown that those who were hesitant about going to their reunion discover later that it was an event they wouldn't have missed!
We hope you sign up today! I know It's $70 a ticket, but really that breaks down to $7 a year.... since it is 10 years later!!!
